Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a Staff Accountant to join a top-tier, well-established company in Phoenix, Arizona. Responsibilities

As a Staff Accountant, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the financial health and operations of the business:

• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Contribute to audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial processes
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• High attention to detail and analytical mindset
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial systems
• Deltek experience preferred (but not required-we'll help you learn!)
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• A proactive, growth-minded approach to your career

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Additional Details

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience (DOE).
